GLASSJAW - Review by Jana Kendrick |
|
Standing in line,
ticket in hand, at the Cotton Club Thursday night I could not
believe how many kids turned up for this show. They finally announce
that it is sold out and the line thins as uneasy faces turn away.
Making my way through the door I read the line up and see that Glass
Jaw, an "almost hardcore" band from New York, is playing second.
When they finally came on stage, the crowd went |

|
crazy! They played
new songs from their soon to be released album and of course songs
from their amazing prereleased album... they could not have picked a
better setlist. I was stunned by the sound created at a live show
considering the extreme vocals and hard hitting guitar. The energy
and positivity exuded from the band reflected the crowd in so many
ways. Everyone released loud amounts of emotion yet were in awe of
the four young artists that engulfed the stage. If you missed the
show, your loss, but you do have another chance. Warped Tour this
year has a great line up that includes Glass Jaw! |
